Mr. Anthony Maung is a skilled lawyer with a wide variety of experiences in different areas of law. His legal journey began with his first job as a legal attachment, where he gained valuable experience in reviewing and drafting strata management agreements, drafting contracts, conducting legal research, and preparing notices of demand.

He developed an interest in the Companies Act 2016 and continued his journey as a legal advisor and secretarial assistant. Here, he gained firsthand experience in company compliance, drafting Shareholders' Agreements, opening new Sendirian Berhad companies, utilizing dormant companies, and analyzing audits and company constitutions.

During his time in pupillage, Mr. Maung was exposed to banking litigation and general litigation, including drafting Writs, Statements of Claims, Notices of Application, Affidavits, and Written Submissions related to various matters. He assisted in preparing trial documents, witness statements, and cross-examinations, and had the opportunity to sit in court with his Master on multiple cases up to the Federal Court. He also has extensive experience in obtaining Orders for Sale and Auction Execution for banks, as well as Bankruptcy Orders and Winding Up Orders for creditors.

While managing a branch, his responsibilities included drafting Joint Petitions (Divorce), Unilateral Petitions (Divorce), Grants of Probate, Applications for Letters of Administration, Resealing Foreign Judgments/Orders, Originating Summonses, Writs, Statements of Claims (Debt Collection), Affidavits, and Interlocutory Applications (Disclosure, Summary Judgment, Striking Out, Substituted Service, and Exemption of Service). He also conducted legal research to enhance his areas of practice and prepared conveyancing documents such as 16A Transfers, Deeds of Gift, CKHT Forms, 16N, Discharges, Deeds of Receipt, Reassignment, and Redemption Documents.

As of writing, he is currently involved in heavily disputed cases, including custody of children, defamation (settlement reached), land registration, breach of shareholders' duties, breach of contract, tampering of TNB meters, winding up, and bankruptcy, all of which exemplify the comprehensive legal services he offers as part of his commitment to clients at the law firm.
